What Changed on August 15

The August 15 changelog raised the weekly Mythic Coin cap by 50% and doubled the number of Mythic Caches you can earn each week. Both changes are retroactive — if you already ran keys this week, the extra coins and the extra cache slots appear after the pending restart.

This lands on top of Mythic+ Dungeons 10 (unlocked August 7). The extra cache is not a reason to push a sloppy +12; it is a reason to finish a second clean +10 instead of logging off after one timed key.

How to Spend the Extra Week

Run one key for the weekly vault-style cache you already planned, then a second key on an alt or a different dungeon affix. Coins buy catch-up pieces and essence fragments — dump them into slots that Zul'Gurub and Molten Core have not replaced yet.

Do not burn the extra cache on a key your group cannot time. An untimed +10 still pays; a wipe-fest +11 wastes the doubled cap. Pair this page with the Mythic+ feature guide for affix habits and the Late-August Checklist so keys stay Priority 3 behind ZG and MC.

• Main: one timed +10, one second cache key (same or next dungeon)
• Alt: Travel Permit → Heroic → one +10 if the cap still has room
• Coins: fill gaps, not vanity — weapon / trinket / essence first

What This Is Not

This is not a new dungeon tier and not a new keystone level. Blackwing Lair, Manastorm, and the next timeline pillar are unchanged.
